Savage Island by Bryony Pearce

Savage Island

rating: 5 out of 5 stars

My review:
The incredible imagination and the gruesome makes it the best horror book I have ever read. It feels like you are there on the island being part of the team and predicting what they should do. The strong novel makes you want to read on and on.

This book is about these kids trying to win five million pounds in a competition by Gold. But when they come to the second checkpoint they have to make big life decisions as well on the other geocache boxes. They have to decide on what to do and if you really want know then read this amazing book.
But for a warning this book is not for younger readers since it is pretty horror and some parts are very gruesome and violent.

The Sacrifice Box by Martin Stewart

The Sacrifice Box

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

My review

"Never come to the box alone,"
"Never open it after dark,"
"Never take back your sacrifice."

The darkness of books is here and it only takes five friends to do something bad. The imagery makes me amazed on how powerful this book really is. The mystery you want to discover for who has broken one of those rules. I loved how Martin included crows in the novel because it makes me feel excited and terrified. This was my first horror book and this won't be the only one I will read. The build up of excitement made me want to keep on going because I wanted to know more. Good job Martin on writing a fabulous book!

Floored by Sara Barnard, Holly Bourne, Tanya Byrne, Non Pratt, Melinda Salisbury, Lisa Williamson, Eleanor Wood

Floored

4 out of 5 stars

My review:
The different personalities, the different emotions and the experiences all 7 people have. This was an absolutely amazing book that it was great. I could picture everything in my head and I couldn't put it down. The worst part is that there are a lot of rude words and rude things that happens but it so amazing. When I was reading the book I didn't imagine that it was written by 7 authors because the style is the same and I just love how the characters have different perspectives. I am surprised that I enjoyed this book at first because of what people said but I truly will recommended this to people.

This book is absolutely amazing!!! I highly recommended this to people because wow!!!!!!
This is about a girl called Lucy and she had Cancer for years now. She is pain everyday but one day everything changes. She comes home in a new body. A new face, arms, legs but the same brain and eyes. She is still Lucy on the inside but on the outside she is a completely different person.
What could happen if she does something she isn't meant to do, would they take her parents to jail or something else?

How hard is it to be somebody new and different?

Heartstream by Tom Pollock

Heartstream

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
Heartstream
My Review:
This seriously needs to turn into a film as well as White Rabbit Red Wolf. Tom is my favorite author and now this is one of my favorite books (as well as White Rabbit Red Wolf).

This book is about two girls, Amy and Cat. Amy has lost her mother and Cat loves a singer called Ryan. They both use the online world nearly everyday: Heartstream, Twitter, Instagram and many other well known apps. Amy loves to live stream but after her mum's funeral she will regret everything. But what about Cat?
Who really is she?
WELL IF YOU WANT THESE QUESTIONS ANSWERED THEN READ THE BOOK!!
(Woops caps, sorry)

We See Everything by William Sutcliffe

We See Everything

Rating: 5 out 5 stars

My Review:
What an amazing book!!! I met William and he was one of the nicest guy I have ever met!

What if there was a wall in London? You can't get in nor out. There are drones flying everywhere and watching your very footstep everyday. What would you do? Would you travel down the strip? Would you be a terrorist and putting everybody in danger? Will you do nothing or would you join the military?

This book is about two people, they both live there but they don't know who each other are. Lex controls #K622 and when he sees Alan he doesn't know who he is and Alan doesn't know who drives that drone.

What will happen in the story?
Well you will have to read it instead.

Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige

Dorothy Must Die

rating: 4 out of 5 stars

My Review:
The best part about this book is that I can picture it in mind, It jumps right in to the tornado so we won't get bored and they are important for the author to do. Danielle has done all that so it makes me
(the reader) happy.

This book is about a girl, who lives in Kansas, called Amy Gumm. She knows and loves The wizard of Oz but when she gets swiped up by the tornado she notices something strange. Nothing of Oz looks the same, from the film and books nothing is like the Oz she knew about. Everything was different....

This series had the best books ever and I mean ever. If you haven't read INK then you need to.

This book is all about Leora going back to Saintstown after Obel got arrested. She needed to know why but when the got there is was a different story. There was so many town meetings and what happens next will be a challenge for her. This challenge will be the biggest one yet and the hardest one but it isn't impossible.

Emily Windsnap and the Monster from the Deep by Liz Kessler

Emily Windsnap and the Monster from the Deep

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

My Review
The story continues by Emily approaching a brand new life with her mum and dad at Allpoints Island, which is a wondrous thing. Is it real that mermaids live there? All what about semi-mer? Questions what we are all wondering about that it hasn't been found out yet. Even if Neptune is angry and scary,It is the best series of books ever!

Wow what a blast that book was!
It was amazing and some parts I cried but I wouldn't give any spoilers to the one who hasn't read this book yet. I loved every single moment of it.

Stargazing for Beginners

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

My Review:
I couldn't put this book down because I was curious on what will happen next that I fell in love with this book so I will differently recommend this book.

This book is about a girl called Meg and she loves space(that's probably why the title is called Stargazing for Beginners). Her mum disappears after going to work one day and she had to look after her little sister,Elsa. Would Meg get Elsa out of danger? Will her mum come back?

Well then if you want to know the answers you know what to do....

The Honest Truth by Dan Gemeinhart

The Honest Truth

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

My Review:
WOW!!!!
This was an amazing book but it was sadly depressing at some points in the story. This is about a boy called Mark and he has cancer. He escaped home, before his family knew he got his cancer back, and so he wanted to have an adventure with his dog Beau. He sets himself an adventure to climb a really big mountain but will he survive or not? You have to read it yourself.

Ink by Alice Broadway

Ink

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

My review:
Ink was amazing that I can't wait to read the next book and the end was shocking on what she did but I support her.

This was a really great book and I couldn't asked for more. This was about a girl called Leora and sadly her father died. This is a very different world because everybody has to wear tattoos to tell people about them. When people die they get skin books for the family to read but Leora was shocked on what she heard about her father. There are blanks in the world and they are terrifying and wants to get the innocent people in the crazy world of tattoos. I really do recommend this book!

Boy in the Tower by Polly Ho-Yen

Boy in the Tower

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

This book is about a school kid, who lives in a tower block, and his name is called Ade. Plants grew and it was really dangerous in the town. People evacuated and all sorts but Ade, his mum and other people stayed in their tower block trying to survive.

My Review:
I liked this book a lot because I love all the spying on what the children do and I just love the dog as well. The siblings are Peter and Janet, and Jack, Barbara, Pam, Colin and George. My Review:
I wasn't much in to this book to be honest.Maybe because my class was reading it together and I didn't got a grip to this. Also I want to say that I am very disappointed at the ending because it wasn't good at all and there was nothing to it, if you know what I mean.

A Whole New World: A Twisted Tale by Liz Braswell

A Whole New World: A Twisted Tale

Short by Holly Goldberg Sloan

Short

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

My review:
It was an amazing book with funny parts in it which is great. I also want to say that I feel so sorry for people with this disability and I hope them for the best.

Short is all about a girl called Julia and she has dwarfism. She got in to a play called The Wizard Of Oz (I love it) in the summer but for the first few rehearsals she didn't like it. She finally did in the end so you have to read this book if you want to know if she does bad in the performance and what role she plays.

I Am Thunder by Muhammad Khan

I Am Thunder

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

My Review:

I Am Thunder is a fabulous book with exciting plots and a lot of love .Muzna's parents doesn't want her to fall in love with a boy and they want her to be a doctor. This isn't what Muzna wanted and she wanted to be a writer. She deeply falls in love with a boy called Arif and he got her wearing a Hijab and become a real Muslim. The ending is amazing to 270-306 because it was exciting and I couldn't put the book down so I basically missed breakfast.

When you read a few pages of the book you feel like you are in a world where mermaids really exists and you are flapping your fins to find out what's next with Emily. She loves story writing like me that I am writing a book called The Worst Time and it's based in World War 2. But we are talking about Emily Windsnap in this review. She is exciting and I can see her tail in my mind right now with her best friend under the sea,Shona.
This is the best series of books ever that I am on number 4!
